Mika Vähämäki - Finnish Champion 2008
ADRF
driver Mika Vähämäki won the Finnish F3
Championship. Vähämäki secured his victory by taking two second and one
fourth place from the final triple-header round at Ahvenisto circuit.
Vähämäki, who scored the maximum
points at Botniaring,
had a 25 points lead in the championship before the Ahvenisto round.
Art-Line team's Viktor Shaitar all he could to win the championship
from Vähämäki, but even pole position and three victories weren't
enough for the Russian. Vähämäki, last seasons Formula Ford champion,
took no risks and won the championship by eight points. Kimmo Joutvuo
secured his third place in the penultimate race.
